Dress Code

All Classes

No extra cover-ups or excessive jewelry may be worn during class.

All required dancewear can be ordered through the Studio.

All dancewear orders must be paid for in advance.

Ballet

Dancers in the Children’s Program are required to wear a leotard, specified by Dance Moves, in the class color. No extra cover-ups or excessive jewelry. Dance sweaters and leg warmers are permitted during cold weather.

Ladies: solid colored leotard in class colors, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. All female dancers are expected to have their hair secured in a bun. Small "scrunchies" are acceptable, but please leave hair pieces at home. Dance skirts may only be worn on special days.

Men: solid colored T-shirts, black tights or sweats, black or white ballet shoes, hair secured.

Tap

Ladies: Clothes as listed in Ballet, Tan taps in the required style.

Men: Clothes as listed in Ballet, Black taps in the required style.

Jazz

Ladies and Men: Clothes as listed in Ballet, appropriate dance covering allowed (may include jazz pants or shorts), black jazz shoes, in the required style.
